About Coach

As a former Division-1 basketball player, competition, and sports, have always been a part of my life. Unfortunately, as I got older I became less active, which led to unhealthy eating habits and the potential for overall bad health. I started a powerlifting journey that led to several competitions and state records, yet my fitness and health did not improve. After starting CrossFit, I lost over 30 lbs, and my overall health improved, including my blood pressure and cholesterol levels. I became a coach to train and assist others in meeting their fitness goals.

Turning Point

I enjoy the sport of competition, no matter what it is. However, getting the bad report from my doctors concerning my health made me realize I had to do something different. Just lifting weights wasn't enough. CrossFit was the perfect fit for me. Lift District Fitness provided everything I needed for total health.

Motivation & Passion

My motivation is to not only live a long life but to have a great quality of life. I'm a husband, a father, a business owner, and a friend to many, therefore, I can't afford to be injured. So, my coaching philosophy is guided by the fact that many of my athletes are all these things as well, and my job is to challenge them and keep them safe. I have personally been able to achieve goals and compete at high levels, and I coach with the intent to help as many as I can reach their personal best and fitness goals.
